COMPLETED FILMS
Troop 13
Troop 13 is a stop motion short about a boyscout camping trip that goes south. This is another film that I created with the two incredible filmmakers, Reece Gartner and Alice Vogel. Creating this film was a huge task, and we worked for a week straight without sleeping or eating much. The work definitely paid off, and we’re so proud of what we were able to accomplish in such a short time frame. Thanks to our voice actors, Ethan Fyler, Jake Pletsch, and Ashtyn Bahr, and musician Chris Hepola.
Paris, Texas by Lana Del Rey
Above is a short cut out animation that I created for my Stop Motion Animation class. I worked on this project with my two friends, @reecegartner @thecoolestvogel5241 on youtube. We created this based on Lana Del Rey’s song, Paris, Texas. This was such a fun project, and I loved working with both of my group members. We will absolutely be making stuff together in the future! Thanks, Alice and Reece!
The Heist
This film is a pixelation inspired by common tropes seen in spy/heist films. I gathered some students at my school, Kiralyn Shealy, Ian Winter, AJ Warner, and Tom Hanson to perform the heist. The basic premise is that the freshmen decide to steal the Scorch dragon from MSUM. One thing I struggled with was keeping the movement smooth. I realized after shooting that I should have just used continuous shooting on my camera. Otherwise, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Enjoy!
Dream Sequence No. 6205
Dream Sequence No. 6205 was my final film project for my freshman year at Minnesota State University-Moorhead. I based this film off a dream I had just after the project was assigned. The actresses shown are my two friends, Lily Becker and Otto VanLanduyt. My friend Anya Williams operated the boom mic. The editing in this film was inspired by the 1969 film Easy Rider, directed by Dennis Hopper. I submitted this film to my univiersity’s Juried Exhibition, and not only was my film shown, but I also won the “Best Upcoming Filmmaker” award, which was shocking and so amazing. I am grateful for the experience and the award I received. Enjoy!
Teef
Teef is a parody of Jaws that I animated for my final project of my 2023 fall semester at Minnesota State University – Moorhead. We were tasked to create 15-30 second animated shorts to submit as our final projects. There was no prompt or requirement. I did not submit this to our juried exhibition because I did not realize that we had one at the time… Silly me…. Thank you to my friend Emii for voice acting some of my screaming parts with me. I voiced some of the other parts.

BENTLEY!!! (Lip Syncing Study)
I worked on this project for my Foundations of Animation class in the fall of 2023. The characters depicted are Greg and the dog from Over the Garden Wall. I thought this sound matched perfectly with Greg’s personality. I had so much fun working on this project, and I wish I had enough time to color it.
