“Paris, Texas” is a song by Lana Del Rey, that my stop motion team, Alice Vogel, Reece Gartner and I wanted to create a music video for. We thought it was the perfect song for a cut-out stop motion animation.

We started by picking the song and then figuring out how many paragraphs there were. We divided them up so each of us took two, and then we all created our own art for each section. It was fun to see each of our art styles come together and become cohesive. Using a black and white palette helped bring everything together. We all worked for a couple days straight to film everything and then I edited the animation together in Premiere Pro. This was a fun project and we are all so proud of it!
